This past two weeks have been something. Dave has been sick. He does not want me to talk about him on line, so I won't. He is better and hopefully will be heading back to work on Tuesday. His boss have been very generous letting him take all the time he needs to be at his best. 

My sister, Debbie Perkins, has been in the hospital for a while do to complications from diabetes. We are praying for her recovery. She has had problems for some time. 

I had have been working on a really complicated quilt and finally removed it from the frame last night. I needed to do something that I could get done with relatively ease. I load this cute small quilt this morning and got it quilt.I finished Sandra and Erv Vogel's quilt. I think it is so cute. Sandra embroidered blocks which she attached to the top and the bottom. The fabric they used for the borders was a star fabric. So I just quilted stars and loops in addition to stitching around each of the figures and the figures' features. 

I took a wonderful class at Scrap Apple Friday and Saturday. It was taught by Noriko  Endo.  I really learned a lot and had a great time. I just almost finished a piece. I can't figure out how to get the photo from my phone onto this blog. When I click on my phone, the photos I took the past few days don't show up I will try again later. It is on face book though.  I was happy with how it turned out, but don't know if I will use her technique on anything else I do. The fibers from the little confetti pieces we cut up makes me cough really bad.  I had to use my inhaler. I really don't like to do that.

I have 3 more customer quilts I need to get done along with a couple more that are on their way to me. My studio is really messy and this next week is a full week.

I also need to contact a friend who is going to let me use one of her photos to do a fiber art piece. I just haven't had time to contact her.
